About Stephanie Singe-Cully

Former Assistant District Attorney and current Family Court Attorney Stephanie Singe-Cully is running for Oneida County Family Court Judge in the 2026 election.

Since 2023, Singe-Cully has served as Court Attorney to the Hon. Paul M. Deep, where she provides comprehensive legal assistance and counsel to all cases handled in his courtroom.

Prior to her appointment as Judge Deep’s Family Court Attorney, Singe-Cully served for over a decade as an Oneida County Assistant District Attorney and later as the Bureau Chief of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, within the District Attorney’s office.

During her tenure as a prosecutor, Singe-Cully handled thousands of cases and numerous jury trials, including prosecuting felony-level special victim’s cases like sexual assaults, physical abuse and the exploitation of children. She consistently collaborated with law enforcement to aid in the investigation, charging and prosecution of child sexual offenders.

Singe-Cully, 36, is a lifelong resident of Oneida County. She grew up in New Hartford and is a graduate of LeMoyne College and Florida Coastal School of Law. She lives in New Hartford with her husband Matt and their nine-month-old son, Rocco.

“As my husband, Matt, and I raise our growing family here, I am as committed as ever to do everything I can to make Oneida County as safe and promising a place as it has been for me,” Stephanie said upon announcing her campaign in December. “With your support, we will bring fairness, accountability, and compassion to Family Court. Together, we can build a system that truly serves every child and every family.”

Aside from her professional qualifications, Singe-Cully has also prioritized giving back to her community. Among other roles, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Oneida County Bar Association and as a member of the Community Readers within the Utica School District.

As a registered Republican, Stephanie Singe-Cully is seeking the Republican nomination for Family Court Judge. The General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Current Family Court Judge, Hon. Randall B. Caldwell, is not seeking re-election.
